Tennis Teams Get Wins at Northwood (Fla.)

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- The Eckerd College men's and women's tennis teams each defeated Northwood (Fla.) on Thursday.
 
The men's squad defeated the Seahawks 5-4, while the women took a 6-3 victory.

On the men's side, the Tritons (6-11) picked up three crucial singles points -- all in three sets. Erik Thunberg, Adam Hopkins and Dylan Randazzo all rallied to take the decisive third set in No. 3, 5 and 6 singles.

On the women's side, the Tritons (3-11) took two of the three doubles points before getting wins at No. 3, 4, 5 and 6 singles.

Amanda Teets, Sonnet Ludwig and Christine Hammerschmidt each won their respective singles matches in straight sets.
