Fun in the Sun Day Video
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - While the rain may have dampened a few spirits on Saturday afternoon, the Eckerd College athletic department successfully played host to the third annual 'Fun in the Sun Day' community service event in the McArthur Center.
All eleven NCAA Division II teams were on hand for the event directed toward the members of the St. Petersburg and Tampa Bay community as a thank for the support given to Eckerd College athletics.
As organized by the EC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (S.A.A.C.) and Athletic Trainer Erin Hughes, Saturday afternoon was filled with plenty of free activities and interaction with Eckerd College student-athletes.
