Eckerd College Athletics

Every student-athlete at Eckerd College is entitled to quality medical care while participating as a member of an athletic team. The sports medicine staff coordinates and delivers professional and comprehensive preventative care, treatment, rehabilitation and counseling services to all Eckerd College student-athletes.

The sports medicine staff is comprised of two full time and 1 part time nationally-certified and state licensed athletic trainers who are responsible for the direct care of student-athletes.

This site is designed to give you pertinent information pertaining to your participation as an Eckerd student-athlete during the 2011-2012 school year.

The Eckerd College Athletic Department is concerned for the physical well-being of all of our student-athletes.

The purpose of this site is to explain the procedures regarding pre-participation physicals and athletic insurance coverage for injuries sustained while participating in our intercollegiate sports program.
