Ainsley Parramore '20

Parramore joined her alma mater in the fall of 2022, after spending two years at the local St. Pete Yacht Club. She enters her third season coaching for the 2024-25 season. 

In her first year as an assistant, she helped guide Eckerd to the ICSA Open and Women's Fleet Race Championships. It was the first women's appearance since 2019, and opens first appearance since 2018. 
 
In 2021, Parramore served as a yacht crew member for Cruz Bay Watersports in St. John, US Virgin Islands. She also brings experience coaching in the club sailing sector in Annapolis, Maryland, Long Beach, California, and St. John, US Virgin Islands. 

Parramore was a four-year member of the sailing program appearing in 30 events over her career, including a second-place finish in the SAISA Women's Open in 2018. She also competed in the Sperry Women's Eastern Semifinals in 2019. Parramore received SAISA second team honors for women's skippers. She also received the Triton Award her senior year. 
 
Parramore was also a member of Eckerd's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and the ICSA Women's Sailing Coordinator during her time as a student-athlete.  
 
She graduated in 2020 with a degree in communication with double minors in political science and philosophy.
