Tritons Golf Squads Participate in NSU Shark Invitational

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Binnari Kim and Morgan Deutsch seven and four over par, respectively, to led the Eckerd Tritons men’s and women’s golf teams during competition at the rained-shortened Nova Southeastern Shark Invitational at PGA National Resort and Spa.
The inclement weather shortened the women’s tournament to one round while the men’s tournament only went two rounds.
Kim carded a 151 in two rounds on the par 72 course while Deutsch fired a 76.
While Kim placed 24th, Deutsch did very well to place eighth out of nearly 90 female golfers.
On the men’s side, Luca Bell and Ryan Cuitino finished within a shot of each other at 154 and 155 while, on the women’s side, Nicole Lasasso and Leah Colombo fired 85 and 90, respectively.
The Eckerd men’s golf team will return to action on Sunday, October 19 as it travels to Destin, Fla. to participate in the University of North Alabama’s Indian Bayou Classic at Indian Bayou Country Club. Simultaneously, the Tritons women’s golf squad will travel to Saint Leo, Fla. to participate in the Saint Leo Invitational at Lake Jovita Country Club.
