Lassaso Leads Tritons as Women's Golf Competes in Queens Invitational

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Nicole Lassaso shot a first round 79, including a 38 on the back nine to lead the Eckerd Tritons women's golf squad to a 15th place standing after day one of the Queens University (N.C.) Invitational at TPC Sawgrass on Sunday.

Lassaso placed 28th overall while Morgan Duetsch is two strokes behind at a first round 81. Leah Colombo, Georgia Gordon, and Katie Carlson round out the participants for the Tritons.

Action will conclude at TPC Sawgrass on Monday.
