Rausberg Breaks Program Three-Pointer Records in Season Finale

, Fla. - Sophomore guard Kati Rausberg led all scorers with 16 points while setting new program single-season marks in made three-pointers (66) and three-point field goal percentage (.462) as the Eckerd Tritons (10-15, 4-12 SSC) concluded their regular season with a 68-51 loss to the Rollins Tars (19-8, 11-5 SSC) on Saturday afternoon at Rollins' Warden Arena.

After an Ashley Lutz layup gave the Tritons a 17-16 lead with 9:19 to go in the first half, Rollins would close the half on a 17-4 run, taking a 33-21 lead into the locker room at halftime.

In the second half, Eckerd would get no closer to the Tars than 11 points as Rollins would go on to coast to the 17-point victory.

Lutz scored 12 total points in the game, while dishing out three assists. Krystal Charles, meanwhile, added 10 points and seven rebounds. Amber Heistan and Brittany Daiger, who each had eight rebounds, led the Tars with 16 and 15 points, respectively.

Eckerd plans to return two seniors in 2010-11, Lutz and Tijana Brdar, while the program bids farewell to Stephanie Grace and Laticia Rolle.
