JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Eckerd Men's Golf squad finished sixth out of a largely NCAA Division I field of 13 teams at the Don Benbow North-South Collegiate Invitational hosted by Butler University at the Jacksonville Beach Golf Club.
Callum Georgallides led the Tritons, finishing sixth out of 80 golfers after carding a two-round 144, two over par. At the par-71, 6,504-yard course,
Luca Bell finished 18th, just four strokes behind Georgallides.
Paul Henderson,
Luke Bobrowski, and
Ryan Cuitino rounded out the Eckerd squad. Division II Armstrong Atlantic won the tournament with a seven over par score of 575, 21 strokes ahead of Eckerd.
The Tritons will return to the links on March 15 as they travel to Valdosta, Ga. to participate in the Southeastern Collegiate Invitational at the Kinderlou Forrest Golf Club.
