ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – In just his second year at the helm, Eckerd men's soccer head coach Steve Magee piloted his young program to a 9-7-1 record, earning a postseason bid to the Sunshine State Conference Tournament.
With plenty of memorable moments from the fall campaign already etched in the minds of Tritons' fans, Magee recently sat down with EckerdTritons.com to discuss his thoughts and look ahead to the already foreseeable bright future.
For the Tritons, a win over No. 24 Saint Leo University, a double-overtime scoreless draw at No. 9 Barry University and a senior night victory over the University of Tampa, were all bright spots in addition to a number of student-athletes that were tabbed for individual season accolades.
In the following video segment, Magee outlines his vision for the future and details the Tritons' rise through the SSC as he looks to carry over success to the fall of 2012.
