ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Eckerd Men's Basketball Team (18-8, 11-5 SSC) concluded the 2009-10 regular season with a third-place standing in the Sunshine State Conference and has earned a number three seed and home game in the BlueCross and BlueShield of Florida SSC Championships on Wednesday at 7pm. The Tritons' opponents will be the sixth-seeded Nova Southeastern Sharks (13-14, 6-10 SSC), whom the Tritons split a season series with.
After falling at Nova Southeastern, 77-64, on January 9, the Tritons started a run of 12 wins in 14 games, including a 93-78 victory over the Sharks on February 6.
John Harper led all scorers in that game with 24 points while
Zaronn Cann added 18 points on 7-of-7 shooting from the field.
Wednesday's game will be available on
